The Mapping The Journey: College Visit Student Workbook gives high school students a hands-on, easy-to-follow guide for getting ready before a visit, staying engaged on campus, and making sense of what they saw afterward.
 
Written in a conversational, student-friendly voice for grades 9–12, the workbook follows the same three-module structure as the Mapping The Journey curriculum. Each of the six sections includes a short introduction, key terms, practical activities, and fill-in-the-blank reflection questions that help students think about what they really want from college.
 
Inside, students will clarify their college goals and what "fit" means to them, research a college before stepping on campus, prepare thoughtful questions for tour guides, admissions staff, and current students, practice answers to common interview questions, capture impressions and observations during their visit, and reflect afterward to map out their next steps in the application process.
 
The workbook works two ways. Students can use it on their own at their own pace, or educators can use it alongside the Mapping The Journey curriculum as part of a structured program. It also pairs with The College Visit Journal, giving students a complete system for preparing, documenting, and comparing their campus visits.
